What are the differences in size ranges ? What is a Half Size ?

For some items, we offer different size ranges to allow for more variety of fit. Most shirts, tops outerwear and PE uniforms have youth sizes and adult sizes available. You will normally see youth sizes with a "Y", e.g YM and adult sizes with a "A" e.g AM - these are very different sizes. 

Bottoms are more complicated and we offer more size ranges for a better fit. It is always best to try on clothing to get the right fit based on how the student wears the clothing.

We offer Regular, Husky, Slim and Men's sizes in boys' pants and shorts. A general rule is that a Husky gives less length for the same waist and a Slim gives more length for the same waist. Regular and Slim come in number sizes e.g. size 10. Husky come in waist size e.g 25 and have a fixed length. Men's sizes come in waist sizes and have various length e.g 32 W and 30 L

We offer Regular, Half, Slim and Junior sizes in girls' pants and shorts. A general rule is that a Half gives less length for the same waist and a Slim gives more length for the same waist. Regular and Slim come in number sizes e.g. size 10. Half sizes also come in number sizes but the numbers are not 1/2 increments to Regular or Slim - e.g. a regular 14 has the same waist as a 7 Half.
